Our Vision: to make genuine connections with business owners and create an environment where quality business relationships are the norm.
Meet Klin & Jonathan
While the basis for this project began with a fortuitously broken Ferrari in late 2022, Business, L.L.C. was founded circa 2019 by Michael and Claire Runyon to teach their children about business, The Business Company has always been about sharing knowledge.
In early 2023, Business, L.L.C. was acquired by Jonathan Williams strictly for the name as a joke, but old habits die hard and the company had other ideas. Klin Holdaway soon came aboard and The Business Company, as we know it, was born.
Intentions were to use the name as a semi-bogus corporate sponsor for our Bonneville land speed racing team and sell t-shirts, but we began using it for other things. We cleaned out a warehouse, branded our own coffee, sold surplus Humanitarian Daily Rations (like MREs, look them up) out of a fire truck factory, flipped a couple of air-cooled VWs, etc. In May of 2023, the infamous Mexico trip happened and things were solidified.
The Business Company Today
The Business Company played with ideas all summer. Klin enrolled in business school at UVU in the fall. Jonathan would follow suit in the spring. In the winter of 23/24, it was discovered that we could use a camera that we already had to put brick and mortar establishments on Google Street View.
That brings us to today where The Business Company finds itself to be a solution producer. More than anything, we are a company that collects and shares knowledge. We’ve found that we learn a whole lot about local businesses and what they could potentially do for each other.
